ABOUT YOUR COACH
BILL
HARVEY
With over 20 years of leadership experience in the United States Marine Corps and logistics industry, Bill provides coaching and consulting services. After flying F/A-18s while serving as a fighter/attack pilot in the Marine Corps, he transitioned to corporate leadership in the online retail industry. He’s led high-performance teams in dynamic environments all over the world. Through military, operations, and consulting projects, Bill gained experience spanning all leadership levels from local to strategic. He’s advised senior military and government officials and business leaders in operations, logistics, aviation, and hospitality. Bill has experience delivering results in large enterprises and startups.
Bill’s breadth of experience across functions, military and corporate, have shaped his unique approach to leadership. He believes leadership and change management are practices to be cultivated and mastered. Using his ability to help his clients connect their passions with their vision for the future, Bill catalyzes change and facilitates decisive action. His keen ability to connect strategy and execution helps leaders maintain individual and team focus across functions and environments.
Bill earned an MBA, with a concentration in Strategy and Leadership, from the University of North Carolina, Kenan-Flagler Business School. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering at the United States Naval Academy. He serves as the Vice President of the Board of Directors for Natik, a non-profit that facilitates international collaboration between community partners, emerging leaders, and supporters to overcome educational and economic exclusion. Bill also advises the boards of several companies in the education, health, and technology industries.
